Hosting and email
We use Host-Unlimited.de (Bieber IT GmbH, Braunschweiger Straße 22, 38518 Gifhorn, Deutschland) for website hosting and our business mailbox. Page requests involve processing IP address, time, requested address, browser/system details and status codes to deliver and protect the website (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). The hosting and email provider receives data as part of these technical services. Server logs are retained only as needed for operational security and investigation of specific faults. Provider information: https://host-unlimited.de/datenschutz.
Contact form and Inntal assistant
When you submit a request, we process your name, email and/or telephone, location, requested service and message, including assistant answers. Data is sent over an encrypted connection to our server and via authenticated, encrypted SMTP to kontakt@inntal-service.de. We use it to respond and prepare or perform a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR); other enquiries are handled under our legitimate interest in communication (Article 6(1)(f)). Providing data is voluntary; the required fields are necessary to handle the request. The assistant guides you through your enquiry step by step. Answers stay in your browser until submission. Message contents are not stored in a website database.
Retention of enquiries
We keep enquiries as needed to handle them, answer follow-up questions, perform contracts or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. They are then deleted unless statutory retention requirements apply. The content, purpose and completion of the communication determine retention; business records subject to retention duties are kept for the applicable commercial and tax periods.
Abuse prevention
A hidden field and request limit protect the service. We store a keyed hash relating to the IP address and timestamps, not the raw IP. Only the previous hour counts towards the limit. Older entries are removed on the next request or cleanup run. The basis is our legitimate interest in secure operation (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). No external CAPTCHA is used.
Cookies and browser storage
No analytics or advertising cookies are used. Your banner choice is remembered for 180 days in local storage as “inntal-privacy” to implement your privacy choice (section 25(2)(2) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). Only after “Allow preferences” do we also store your selected language (“inntal-language”) and the logo intro status for the current session (“inntal-visited”), based on consent (section 25(1) TDDDG; Article 6(1)(a) GDPR). You can withdraw consent at any time in the footer’s cookie settings. Choosing “Necessary only” removes these preference values. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of earlier processing.
Form transfers, media and links
When changing language or transferring an assistant request to the form, data is passed through a local URL fragment and then removed from the address bar. This fragment is not sent to the server. Images, fonts and videos are served locally. No analytics, marketing, map or third-party video services are embedded. External links, telephone and email applications open only when you choose them.
Your rights
Subject to legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and portability. You can object to processing under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR for reasons relating to your particular situation. Contact kontakt@inntal-service.de. You may complain to a supervisory authority, including the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision: https://www.lda.bayern.de/de/beschwerde.html. No automated decisions or profiling with legal or similarly significant effects take place.
